“ TRU is a great place to stop for lunch! The outdoor is beautiful and lovely to sit in during spring. The sandwichessalads are fresh and pretty quick to arrive. I wish there was a better wine selection for being a wine bar, but it was okay. They are not open super late. It seems like a great place to come to work in the afternoon with a laptop. ”

“ TRU Deli is my favorite spot in Chapel Hill. They have yummy sandwiches, wraps, salads, as well as a full bar. As well as being delicious and healthy, all of their food and drinks are reasonably priced, which is rare in the area. The facilities are always clean, staff friendly, with various seating inside, outside, or on their beautiful roof. This is a great spot for lunch, to study, or casual drinks. They have a more bar like vibe after about 10pm, when they stop serving food. My personal favorite part though is they are dogfriendly both in and outside! ”

“ The place was very nice. The meal with wine was pricey but it was worth it, the roast beef was excellent and wow, the selection of sauces was amazing. I randomly put random assortments of things and it tasted very good, compliments to the kitchen over me concocting some strange sandwich combo. Im not sure if it would be a regular occurrence since the price was steep and I come to believe that Covid has bumped the prices compared to last year but that holds true to several places on franklin. Overall it was an excellent meal and enough so to justify the price, but dont come in expecting a bargain of any kind. ”
